ANNA CHOI a Korean designer born in 1992 and raised in Japan. I studied fashion design in New York as well as in Japan, and in 2017, while attending Bunka Fashion College fashion design course, I won a special prize at the Kobe Fashion Contest and got to study at Nottingham Trent University in England as a scholarship student. After graduating, the couture collection I presented at Graduate Fashion Week in London attracted attention, and after returning to Japan, I started my own fashion brand, HAENGNAE. Since 2021, I has been working as the creative director and fashion designer of HAENGNAE based in Tokyo. We won the JFW Next brand award 2023 and the Tokyo fashion award 2024, and held our first runway show during the 2024 A/W Tokyo fashion week.
