ANNA CHOI is a Korean fashion designer based in New York, raised in Japan. With a strong background in both couture and prêt-à-porter, she blends architectural structure with emotional storytelling in her work.

After studying fashion in Tokyo, New York, and London, she received a special scholarship from the Kobe Fashion Contest and presented her graduation collection at Graduate Fashion Week in London.

In 2021, she founded the fashion brand HAENGNAE in Tokyo, serving as its creative director. The brand was awarded the JFW Next Brand Award in 2023 and the Tokyo Fashion Award in 2024, and held its first runway show during the 2024 A/W Tokyo Fashion Week.

Her work includes custom designs for high-profile clients such as a Japanese Academy Award-winning actress. Today, she continues to create meaningful pieces that merge timeless elegance with contemporary femininity.
